The classic “Morbier” Clock is a wag-on-the-wall clock with visible pendulum and two weights.  Sometimes, they were put in a tall case body like this one.  This version has a beautifully carved door and a very unusual top.  It is in 4 pieces!

There is one unusual feature.  Morbier clocks strike the half hour on a bell.  At the hour it strikes the usual number. AND 2 minutes later it repeats the full hour count!
