1890 Top Quality, Parlor Clock by E. N. Welch, 8-day $250 – SOLD
This 1890 parlor clock was made by the E. N. Welch Clock Company of Forrestville, Connecticut. It has an 8-day movement and I have recently oiled it. It strikes the hours on a gong. It also sounds the half hours. It is in great working order and has a lovely reverse stencil on the door. The pendulum is rare and is called a sandwich glass pendulum.
From a pet free and smoke free house!
Height 21″, Width 15″, Depth 5″, Dial 5″ diameter
I am also a clock repairer. I have 30 years experience with all types of clocks including cuckoo and anniversary clocks.
This clock has been oiled. After my overhaul the clock is good to go, it needs oiling every 8 to 10 years. In fact this is a good statement for all my clocks.
