This English antique Grand father (tall case) clock is one of the earliest white dial clocks with the corners showing raised spandrels effect.  Only the top arch is painted.  Has a wide minute ring with large minutes marked in 5’s.  It is made of quarter-sawn oak with swan-neck pediments, black non-matching steel hands of the period. The dial is marked “Robert Bunyan, Lincoln”.  Lincoln is the county seat of Lincolnshire, England.  It is weight driven using two cast iron weights.  It strikes hours on a bell.   GRO
